His hot takes have now resulted in a new five-year ESPN contract.
The mega-deal is worth a staggering $100m.
However, Smith is also branching out into the world of politics too.
He is launching a brand new weekly radio show for SiriusXM’s POTUS channel.
Smith has signed a three-year contract for his new side hustle.
And it’s believed that deal alone is worth a staggering $36m.
Put together, it’s reckoned Smith is banking around $33m each year.
However, he is also raking it in with his personal YouTube channel.
The Athletic claims that along with his new ESPN and SiriusXM contracts, Smith is now pocketing a staggering $40m per YEAR.
That would make him one of the top 20 highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL if he was a player.
However, Smith’s new politics show does not mean he is planning to run for office.
He has been tipped as a potential future candidate for the White House.
But Smith has no plans to enter the world of politics at that level.
He said: “I have no desire whatsoever to be a politician.
“But I’ve been asked by various people to keep an open mind, because you never know what the state of affairs in this country will be in a couple of years.”
