On Sunday, Drew Brees will join Fox NFL Sunday to share his analysis.

The Super Bowl XLIV MVP will make appearances on both Fox NFL Kickoff and Fox NFL Sunday.

Brees is working on making a comeback in his broadcasting career.

He was once tipped as the successor to Cris Collinsworth at NBC.

However, one bad game during a playoff broadcast completely derailed his career after just one year.

Brees has been vocal that he can be a great broadcaster if he is given another chance, and he is slowly being welcomed back into the industry.

“I love broadcast because there’s an insight that comes with playing the position, the quarterback position, for 20 years that you have that nobody else has,” Brees told CNBC Sport ahead of the Super Bowl.

“I feel like we’re extremely well equipped to be able to talk about and communicate exactly what’s happened on the field and why.

“So look, I would, with the right opportunity, I’d love to.

“I love the game of football, and I will always be involved in the NFL game in some capacity.”

When asked about holding talks about a new job in sports media for the 2025 season, he responded with “maybe.”

The future Hall of Famer appeared on Netflix’s Christmas Day broadcast last season and did well in his role.

This year he will return to the broadcast booth alongside Noah Eagle for the Christmas game.

For his Fox NFL Sunday appearance, Brees will take over Julian Edelman’s spot on the intro show.

For the main pregame show he will guest star alongside the normal cast including Terry Bradshaw and Michael Strahan.

It isn’t clear how much time he will spend on Fox NFL Sunday, but he will be a welcome addition.

In the past, one of his former Saints teammates has appeared on the show.

Cam Jordan made an appearance in an analyst role, but didn’t spend any time at the desk.

It is possible that Brees will fill a similar kind of guest role.
