NFL Week 3 is highlighted by a great matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions, but there is plenty more to watch.
Outside of the Baltimore-Detroit game, the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots face off in two intriguing games.

Both the Ravens and Lions have extremely high-powered offenses, with the Lions breaking out in a big way last week.
Meanwhile, the Steelers and Broncos both faced difficulties in their Week 2 games and will take on opponents coming off of divisional wins.
There are high stakes all around the league this week, and these matchups are especially important.
Can the Chargers establish their grip on the AFC West with a win? Are the Steelers going to make the playoffs? Is the Lions Super Bowl window still open?
The answers to those questions and more were answered on this week’s episode of The U.S. SunSport’s Ain’t That Our Ball.
LAMAR JACKSON VS JARED GOFF
Lamar Jackson and Jared Goff are squaring off in a high-octane matchup between two of the NFL‘s top offenses.
NFL expert Ryan Sanudo believes Jackson has the edge in this game due to his mentality.
“I gotta start with the IQ of this guy,” Sanudo said.
“No picks last week, four touchdowns. He just knows what to do with the football.”
Jackson is a two-time MVP, and arguably could have won a third last season.
He has 517 total yards and seven total touchdowns to start the season.
On the other side of the matchup, Jared Goff is utilizing the strong playmakers around him to move the ball forward.
“Jared Goff is the kind of quarterback that we would say is a game manager,” host David Scott said.
“A lot of people use that detrimentally, but I think that’s a great thing for a quarterback to be.
“When you have the ability to use the talent around you to bring yourself up, and Goff is really good at that.”
CAN THE STEELERS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS?
It has been a tale of two weeks for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The team started off spectacularly in Week 1 against the New York Jets before falling flat on their face against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2.
A lot of that came down to Aaron Rodgers‘ performance.
He went from passing for 244 yards with four touchdowns and no turnovers in Week 1 to passing for 203 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 2.
“I think he (Aaron Rodgers) still doesn’t see eye-to-eye with some of his receivers,” Sanudo said.
“I get it — new team — but he doesn’t look like the old Rodgers. He didn’t look like the old Rodgers with the Jets, and now he’s 41 years old.
“I said it before the season, the Steelers just don’t move me.”
On top of his subpar review of Aaron Rodgers, Sanudo gave a damning prediction for the Steelers’ playoff hopes.
“I don’t see a way for them to make the playoffs this year in that division,” he said.
JUSTIN HERBERT IS A TOP NFL QB

Justin Herbert and the Chargers are off to a scorching start to the 2025 season.
Their offense has been firing on all cylinders, and that is mostly thanks to Herbert.
“Herbert it one of the best quarterbacks in the league for a reason,” Sanudo said.
“Under Jim Harbaugh you can tell they’ve been throwing the ball a lot more this year and he’s utilizing his weapons more.”
Through two games this season, Herbert is No. 3 in passing yards with 560, No. 3 in passing touchdowns with five, and No. 3 in QBR at 81.6.
He has yet to turn the ball over.
“The fact is that Herbert has elevated himself to a top-10, top-five quarterback in the league,” Scott said.
“It is really showing this year.”
WHO WINS THE AFC WEST?
Through two weeks, it looks more likely than ever that the Chiefs could not win the AFC West.
“We could see someone not named the Kansas City Chiefs winning the division for the first time in almost 10 years,” Scott said.
The Chiefs have held a stranglehold on the division for so many years, but the Chargers finally caught up and have a chance to win it.
“Before the year I said the Chiefs will win this division,” Sanudo said.
“Man, a couple weeks went by and I think the Chargers can do this, they can win this division.”
It is only Week 3, but the Chargers must feel comfortable with a two-game lead ahead of the Chiefs.
