A CHILLING 22-minute video titled The Roswell Incident has appeared in the National Archives, showing what some claim could be debris and alien bodies from the infamous 1947 crash.
The footage blends still images, motion-controlled camera shots, and extracts from the published Roswell Report, as well as UFO magazines and books.

Experts allege that the alien is likely pareidolia, a psychological effect where the brain sees familiar shapes in random objects[/caption]
It opens with the book The Roswell Report: Fact Versus Fiction in the New Mexico Desert and ends on a stark black-and-white shot of a crater littered with metallic debris.
The scene has triggered online speculation that the footage may be the first images of the crash site.
The original incident took place in New Mexico in July 1947, when a rancher reported scattered debris, prompting authorities to investigate.
Some viewers have pointed to a dark shape in the crater, claiming it resembles an alien body.
Major Jesse Marcel, who recovered debris at the time, described the area as “a large area heavily scattered with metallic debris from a single impact point that scarred the earth.”
UFO expert Mark Lee told the Daily Mail the crater image is likely intended to add intrigue rather than provide proof.
“In my opinion, it’s either a hoax,” Lee said.
“Just because it’s been added to the National Archives doesn’t give it scientific validation.”
Lee added the alleged alien is likely pareidolia, a psychological effect where the brain sees familiar shapes in random objects.
The US military conducted its own investigation, concluding in 1994 that the debris was likely from a high-altitude balloon from Project Mogul, a top-secret program designed to detect Soviet nuclear tests.
Despite the official explanation, the video has reignited debates online, with users posting widely differing interpretations.
One user tweeted, “National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has uploaded a video of the Roswell 1947 UAP Crash site.”
Others suggested the footage may simply be B-roll used in the 1996 Roswell Report presentation.
Some claimed a grey alien appears in the official video, while others warned the images are not labeled as the actual debris site.
The Roswell Incident
By Elizabeta Ranxburgaj
One of the world’s most talked-about questions stemmed from a U.S. Army Air Forces press release from the summer of 1947.
The document noted that they had discovered a “flying disc” from a ranch near the small city of Roswell, New Mexico.
Some believers have claimed an extraterrestrial spacecraft crashed into the desert, leaving debris and alien bodies.
The mystery has spurred rumours and ideas that this moment came to be a decades-long cover-up by the government.
A local rancher reported finding debris in the area and had an intelligence officer, Jesse Marcel, come to the site and take more debris.
The mystery became rampant after the US military made a major u-turn 24 hours later and said the UFO rumors had been a mistake and explained the debris was from a crashed weather balloon.
Decades on, some people have still argued that the balloon crash was a cover-up for something more sinister or extraterrestrial.
Jesse Marcel Snr, the first military officer on the scene, told his son he believed the materials were extraterrestrial and may have shown him parts of a flying saucer.
The debris reportedly spread across a triangular area roughly 200 to 300 feet wide and three-quarters of a mile long.
The War Department quickly retracted its initial claim of a “flying disc,” stating the wreckage came from a weather balloon.
The US Air Force later confirmed it was part of Project Mogul, designed by Columbia University, NYU, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
Despite decades of secrecy, many ufologists remain unconvinced by the balloon explanation.
Veteran researcher Kevin Randle has argued that “something fell at Roswell” and all terrestrial explanations have been eliminated.

He points to a 1947 memo held by Brigadier General Roger Ramey, which some interpret as referencing “victims of the wreck.”
Walter Haut, the original base public information officer, insisted before his death that his press release about a “flying disk” was accurate.
His daughter, Julie Shuster, said her father confirmed seeing both the craft and bodies, which he described as child-sized and clearly not of this Earth.
Shuster claimed Haut had been sworn to secrecy by Colonel William Blanchard, a close friend, and prepared a sealed affidavit to be opened after his death.
Thomas Carey, co-author of Witness to Roswell, said Haut’s sealed statement confirmed the craft was egg-shaped, roughly the size of a Volkswagen Beetle, and carried multiple bodies.
Former Deputy Sheriff Charles H. Forgus recalled seeing alien bodies being removed by military personnel in Texas, describing them as having large eyes and brownish skin.
Jesse Marcel’s grandson has added new claims, reporting credible sources saw up to three extraterrestrial corpses at a second crash site, one “still breathing.”
He says debris from the second site may still exist, including a “beam as light as a feather but as strong as steel” marked with mysterious symbols.
According to Marcel, his grandfather showed him the wreckage in secret and was pressured by military authorities to remain silent.
Marcel recalled: “At one point he mentioned to us that if he was to talk about it, they’d find his bones in the desert.”
Phones of family members were reportedly tapped, and officials would visit the home, insisting Roswell was a “non-event.”
Despite these pressures, Marcel believed the debris was clearly extraterrestrial and that humans are not alone in the universe.
Nick Pope, former UFO investigator, said even a single fragment from the crash could force the US government to reveal hidden UFO evidence.
“Roswell is literally the ground zero of the modern UFO mystery,” Pope said.
“Today’s testing could immediately ascertain whether the UFO was from outer space – or Earth.”
