KIM Kardashian was selected to be the star of Vogue France’s October issue, holding a focus on the celestial radiance of fine jewelry.
The shoot involving the media personality, 44, appears to be a special one to Vogue France, as they lovingly described the concept.
“Those diamonds that illuminate the skin, becoming both adornment and armor, fragile radiance and infinite strength,” said Vogue France, speaking on the release of their latest issue.

“Under the constant gaze of her millions of followers, she has seamlessly traversed stylistic eras.
“Photographing her in the hushed intimacy of the Le Bristol Paris hotel during couture, almost without makeup, enveloped in the world’s most precious jewels, was the encounter with a new Kim.”
To bring together this vision of delicateness and the sense of empowerment that comes from being bejewelled in stunningly-crafted finery, Kim stripped down naked and tucked herself into a bed of white sheets.
The bed serves as both a blank canvas for the shoot as well as something deeper and more metaphorical.
In bed asleep is where we lay at our most vulnerable, so seeing Kim laying there wearing nothing by Cartier gems is both intimate as well as empowering.
The photography was captured in black and white, where less can distract from the scene.
The luxurious bracelets and bold necklace gleam against Kim’s skin while she looks half-dreamily at the camera.
As her dark hair splays out across the pillows surrounding her, Kim clutches one hand upwards near to her chest.
Vogue describe the shoot as illustrating “Kim Kardashian, as you’ve never seen her before, as well as being a shoot of celebration.
“This issue is a celebration of love in all its forms.
“As marriage regains its place at the heart of culture, we dedicated these pages to the rituals that accompany it: the dress, the ring, the honeymoon, the state of mind.
“For at the center of every union remains one immutable truth: the greatest love story will always be the one we experience with ourselves.”

Kim is specially modelling a Pluie de Cartier necklace in white gold, set with 474 brilliant-cut diamonds for 30.11 carrots, and a Pluie de Cartier bracelet in white gold set with 203 diamonds.
She’s also wearing earrings more visible in photos inside of the magazine: the Pluie de Cartier set in white gold, each set with 15 brilliant-cut diamonds.
