A MAJOR shopping mall has reversed a “nonsensical” $10 charge that was blasted by customers.
This jaw-dropping payment was imposed on shoppers before they even set foot inside.

One customer recounted his experience of spotting the new charges as he went to the Deptford Mall on Labor Day, the The Philadelphia Inquirer has reported.
William L. Smith III said he was there for back-to-school shopping for his 8-year-old son when he saw the signs.
The 51-year-old social worker from Clementon told the paper that some parking spots closer to the store entrance now cost $10 a day to use.
He took a photo of the sign and posted on Facebook: “I’m good. I need the steps anyway!”
Smith Smith added: “I thought it was kind of funny.
“With the decline of malls and the boom of Amazon and being able to buy stuff off TikTok.
“People are struggling. Paying an extra $10 to park at the mall is not necessary.”
But Smith was far from the only one to angrily post about the parking charges.
Many customers in the Philadelphia area raged on social media about the introduction of “premier parking”.
They also noted that many other malls in the area don’t impose similar levies on their customers.
The changes were blasted as “unreal”, “ridiculous”, and “nonsense”.
However, the company has since backpedalled on the charges, which a spokesperson said only affected 50 out of more than 5,000 parking spots at the mall.
It never took spaces away from accessible spots required under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Smith later spotted on TV news that the $10 charges had been removed, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
“I could see if they had a premium restaurant where you needed valet parking,” he said.
“But I can park and walk to Red Robin.”
