SAQUON BARKLEY has been handed a huge fine by the NFL for his “rough” play against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Barkley played a key role in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 20-17 win over their Super Bowl rivals earlier this month.

But the running back found himself in hot water following a heated incident on the NFL field.
Barkley found himself going up against Chiefs ace Chamarri Conner while running with the ball.
Yet he opted for a “rough” move by charging into Conner with his helmet down.
Barkley smashed his opponent in the face, with no flag thrown.
But the NFL have now handed down a major punishment.
They have fined Barkley $46,731 for “unnecessary roughness/use of the helmet.”
Fans were not happy with the decision though.
One said: “Hate how soft this league is.”
Another declared: “The NFL should be ashamed of themselves.”
One noted: “This is just normal playing running back.”

Travis Kelce was also fined for unsportsmanlike conduct[/caption]
Another added: “Bro got fined for playing football.”
Meanwhile, Chiefs star Travis Kelce has also been punished by the NFL.
He was sanctioned for unsportsmanlike conduct in the same game.
And Kelce was hit with a fine totalling $14,491.
It’s the ace’s third one since 2021, but Kelce is unlikely to care following his engagement to pop star Taylor Swift.
