WASHINGTON Commanders head coach Dan Quinn was bloodied after taking a hard hit from his own quarterback.
The collision occurred during the first half of the Commanders’ Week 3 home matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Marcus Mariota started in place of the injured star Jayden Daniels on Sunday.
The 31-year-old scrambled for a three-yard run.
However, a collision took place as Mariota was running out of bounds when he was pushed into the Commanders’ sideline by a Raiders defender.
Mariota couldn’t stop himself before running into Quinn, who fell to the ground and landed on his head.
The cameras spotted Quinn getting up, but he appeared to have a cut on his nose and was dripping with blood.
The second-year coach then saw kicker Matt Gay make a 56-yard field goal to end the first half.
Quinn then gave an update on how he was feeling during an in-game interview.
“I’m OK. Everything’s good,” Quinn said to Fox sideline reporter Jen Hale about his injury.
“Just gonna be this kinda day where it’s a physical game, back and forth, and that’s what we expected coming in.”
NFL fans gave props to Quinn for hanging tough and staying the game after the hit.
“That’s my head coach!” one wrote.
“Dan Quinn, Football Guy,” another commented.
“Quinn is an absolute bad***,” a third said.
“What a legend,” a fourth added.

“Quinn’s a dog,” a fifth stated.
Known for his hard-nosed coaching ways, Quinn played linebacker at Salisbury University.
His Commanders bounced back from a Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers, claiming the 34-24 win over the Raiders.
Washington will go on the road in Week 4 to take on the Atlanta Falcons.
