Kirk, 31, was laid to rest at a memorial service in Arizona on Sunday.
President Donald Trump hailed the activist as a “great American hero” as NFL teams across the league paid tribute.
The Browns displayed a large picture of Kirk and his family on the jumbrotron ahead of Sunday’s game at Huntington Bank Field.
It followed similar tributes by the Bills, Packers, Jets, Cowboys, Dolphins, Saints, Chiefs, Steelers, Titans and Cardinals.
“Very classy. I appreciate that,” wrote one fan on X in response.
“Best thing they’ve done this season,” said another.
“Rare two win day for the Browns today,” added a third.
The NFL initially honored Kirk during the Packers’ win over the Washington Commanders on September 11, the first game after his death.
Following the match, a statement from the league made clear individual teams could decide whether to hold individual tributes.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones declared his decision to honor Kirk was to “stand together” against violence.
“We just all abhor violence,” Jones told The Athletic.
“And it’s impacting us all. And, certainly, we all stand together on any front, relative to the threat of violence..
“I was a young guy, but aware, in the ‘60s when we had huge violence, lost President Kennedy and his brother and many, many others, Martin Luther King.
“It’s something that we all really need to just be aware of, support our law enforcement, and do everything we can to keep the violence in check.”

Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while onstage at a debate in Utah hosted by Turning Point USA.
His wife Erika joined Trump on stage at the emotional memorial in Arizona.
“My husband, Charlie, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life,” she said.
“I forgive him because it is what Christ did. The answer to hate is not hate.”
At Huntington Bank Field, the Browns ended their wait for a win in the 2025 NFL season.
Veteran QB Joe Flacco led the team to a 13-10 win over the Packers, moving to 1-2 on the new campaign.
