A SUSPECT is on the run after the shooting of a 19-year-old college football star in Washington.
Uilisone Falealo was shot in the abdomen at an apartment party hours after Saturday’s Apple Cup.

Falealo is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman at Washington State University.
The Cougars took on the University of Washington Huskies on Saturday, with the Huskies running out convincing 59-24 winners.
Police responded to a shooting in the Pullman area at 1.47am on Sunday morning.
They found Cougars freshman Falealo with a gunshot wound to his stomach, per local CBS affiliate KREM.
The 19-year-old was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery.
“Washington State University can confirm that one of our student-athletes was the victim of a shooting that occurred at an off-campus gathering,” read a University statement.
“The student is currently recovering and his family is with him in Pullman.”
Falealo, who stands 6ft 6in, is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
He previously played at Idaho before transferring to Washington State and redshirting in 2025.
Pullman Police have named University of Washington student Jakori C. Buchanan, 20, as a suspect in the shooting.
A warrant has been issued for Buchanan on charges of first and fourth-degree assault, per KIRO7.
The outlet cites an attorney for the suspected shooter who claims Buchanan acted in “self defense.”
The statement also claims Buchanan’s cousin is in critical condition at Tacoma General, Washington.

Buchanan fled the scene in a gray 2025 Hyundai Sonata.
The vehicle had Minnesota license plates registered to a Hertz rental, according to police.
Whitman County Superior Court Judge Roger Sandberg signed the warrant for Buchanan’s arrest Sunday, per the New York Times.
The warrant authorizes his arrest in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and California.
