On Monday, the Eagles announced that the team claimed wide receiver Xavier Gipson off waivers.
The Giants recently cut Gipson, as he spent just nine days with the club.
The 24-year-old didn’t play a game with Big Blue.
Big Blue claimed Gipson off waivers from the Jets on September 11.
Gipson is now with his third team this season after his time ended with the Jets due to a brutal fumble in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Eagles have added Gipson after they had issues on kickoffs during their Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
Tank Bigsby struggled with two punt returns.
And undrafted rookie wideout Darius Cooper injured his shoulder in the contest as he played six offensive snaps and six on special teams.
Gipson brings to the defending Super Bowl champion squad some special teams experience.
He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Jets after signing with the franchise as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
Gipson posted 68 punt returns and 44 kick returns in 35 career games and averaged 8.9 yards on punt returns and 26.0 yards on kick returns.
As a wide receiver, he recorded 27 receptions for 268 yards and a touchdown.
Gipson is best known for his punt return for a touchdown in overtime in the Jets’ Week 1 home-opener to the Buffalo Bills in 2023.
But fumbles have been a key issue for the third-year player, as he already has fumbled 10 times throughout his career.

Gipson’s last fumble came in Week 1 and helped the Steelers come from behind in Pittsburgh’s eventual 34-32 win at MetLife Stadium.
That fumble was the last straw for the Jets, as he was brutally cut the next day.
The Eagles waived offensive lineman Kenyon Green in a corresponding move.
It marked the first time Philly has cut the former first-round pick since training camp.
