Videos were shared on social media by those at the concert where smoke was seen filling the venue.
The fire and smoke was seen billowing from an upper portion of the stage area.
Someone then appeared to extinguish the flames as the crowd screamed.
Reacting to the video of the fire and flames, one person said, “I was there & that thing was STRESSING me out.”
“I was like ummm are we gonna have to leave….it was literally burring up…in there,” penned a second.
A third wrote, “I was so relieved Moda Center didn’t burn down from the concert lol I was there too.”
“No bc at first I was so confused I thought it was supposed to happen,” added a fourth.
A fifth then said, “10/10 the worst Jonas brothers show in Portland to date. They 100% seem uninterested to even be here.”
While a sixth wrote, “The screaming makes it sound chaotic but I think they were cheering for the guy with the extinguisher lol.”
And a seventh said, “the fact everyone was cheering this whole time had me laughing so hard. best concert ever!!!”
The Jonas Brothers did not acknowledge the fire when they thanked fans for turning out for them in a social media post.
