THE Cleveland Browns have received a rough injury update on one of their star offensive players.
Cleveland will lose a key offensive lineman for the rest of the season, and the team is now showing the play that injured him to the NFL.

The Browns are coming off a stunning 13-10 home victory over the once-unbeaten Green Bay Packers.
However, Kevin Stefanski’s squad suffered a brutal loss in the process.
Offensive tackle Dawand Jones will undergo season-ending surgery on a knee injury.
Jones had suffered the injury just four offensive snaps into the Packers game, Stefanski shared on Monday.
“Disappointing for the young man,” Stefanski told reporters in a press conference.
“He’ll battle back.
“He’ll rehab, and he’ll be ready to roll, but disappointing for him.”
Jones’ injury took place when he went out to block a David Njoku screen.
Green Bay safety Javon Bullard then went low to avoid Jones’ block, and the lineman’s knee bent backward.
Stefanski revealed the team will submit the play to the league for review.
“You’re not allowed to go low,” Stefanski said.
“I don’t believe their player was intending to hurt our player — I know that’s not the case — but we’ll turn that into the league and find out what they say.”
Jones has had unfortunate luck in his three-year career.
He has suffered a season-ending injury in each of his playing seasons.

In 2023, Jones had an MCL injury.
Then, last season, the Ohio State product sustained a left leg fracture.
Jones had played left tackle in each of the Browns’ first two games.
He started at right tackle in Week 3 with Jack Conklin (elbow) out.

Cleveland will have to find Jones’ replacement as well as monitor Conklin, who’s day-to-day.
The Browns will have the daunting task of facing the Detroit Lions, who sacked Lamar Jackson seven times in their Sunday Night Football win over the Baltimore Ravens last week, in Week 4.
