Nnamdi Madubuike, 27, has been ruled out of their upcoming game.
He has suffered a neck injury.
Head coach John Harbaugh, 63, has shed further light on Madubuike’s unavailability.
“I would say I am concerned about it,” Harbaugh said. “But I’m not really in a position to comment on it right now.
“I haven’t been given the OK to comment on it at this point.”
No timeline has been given on Madubuike’s potential return to action with the Ravens.
He faces a potentially long-term lay-off.
“So, he’s not going to play this week,” Harbaugh continued. “I can tell you that.
“And we’re going to have to see going forward when they know what they need to know.”
It is a significant blow for the Ravens as they suffer a slow start to the 2025 NFL season.
Madubuike was selected by the Ravens in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft
The Ravens used him sparingly, as Madubuike recorded his first career sack against the New York Giants in Week 16.
He earned more game time during the following season, despite suffering several injuries.
Madubuike has become a key starter for Harbaugh’s team as the Ravens placed a franchise tag on him in March 2024.
