SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls Starbucks location is set to close following the announcement that the famous brand is focusing more on its resources.
KELOLAND News got this image of this sign in front of the Starbucks located near Jefferson High School.
“We’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close this Starbucks location by the end of this week,” the letter posted on the door of the Starbucks said.
According to the Associated Press, over 500 North American stores are set to close their locations, planning on having only 18,300 American locations when the fiscal year ends on Sunday.
Starbucks is also planning on closing locations in Canada and Europe.
