DONALD Trump has declared that his Gaza peace deal is in its “final stages” ahead of Monday’s White House crunch talks with Benjamin Netanyahu.
The US President said his 21-point plan would end Israel‘s brutal war with terror group Hamas and even pave the way for wider peace in the Middle East.

Trump told Axios: “If we get this done, it will be a great day for Israel and for the Middle East.
“It will be the first chance for real peace in the Middle East. But we have to get it done first.”
Netanyahu will travel to the White House for the fourth time since Trump’s return to office – with the meeting centred on the 21-point plan and postwar arrangements.
The two world leaders are set to hold a press conference at 1:15pm local time (18:15 UK time) as part of the high-stakes meeting.
Trump has said that peace negotiations have involved several Arab countries who were working in collaboration with Hamas to arrange a deal.
The Don added: “The Arab world wants peace, Israel wants peace and Bibi wants peace.
“Everybody has come together to get a deal, but we still have to get it done.”
It comes after White House envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner met the Israeli Prime Minister on Sunday in New York.
The pair, who drafted Trump’s peace deal, aimed to mend any gaping holes in the two countries’ relationship ahead of Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu.
The 21-point plan is a combination of several proposals floated by the international community over the last year to resolve the worsening war in Gaza.
Most notably, it involves Sir Tony Blair who is planning to run the besieged strip of Gaza as part of a postwar interim government.
The former Labour Prime Minster has pitched himself to Donald Trump as the man to guide Gaza through the days after the war.
Under the plans, he would head up the Gaza International Transitional Authority (GITA) – with backing from the UN and Gulf nations – until the Palestinian Authority was in shape to take over.
Some of the other main principles of Trump’s deal includes the release of the remaining hostages, a permanent ceasefire, and gradual Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza strip.
The plan would also see Israel release thousands of Palestinian prisoners and promise to not annex the West bank or occupy parts of Gaza.
Trump has also confirmed that the Israeli PM is on board with his peace plan – which several Arab and Muslim countries have been involved in.

It comes as Netanyahu faces mounting criticism over Israel’s war with Hamas.
Earlier this month, the wartime leader launched his fresh offensive and ground invasion of Gaza City to erase terror group Hamas once and for all.
The Israeli PM slammed Western leaders last week who recognised the State of Palestine during his UN speech.
He vowed that his country would “finish the job” as dozens of delegates walked out of the hall in protest.
Several countries including Britain, France, Canada and Australia have all recognised Palestine this month – pushing the number of UN members doing so over 150.
But Netanyahu described the move as “national suicide”.

BRITAIN must join the fight against Hamas and not reward terror by recognising a Palestinian state, the former chief of Mossad has said.
Veteran Israeli spy Yossi Cohen vowed to eradicate every last enemy fighter in Gaza – as he fumed that Israel is “doing the world’s job alone”.
Mr Cohen demanded to know why Britain and other countries were not helping Israel after joining previous fights against other terror groups.
Sitting down with The Sun, he said: “The big question is, will you join us?
“More than 70 countries, including Britain, fought together to defeat one terror organisation with ISIS, and you joined the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
“How many armies are fighting with us alongside Hamas? None. The state of Israel is doing the world’s job alone. You’re invited.”
With or without the support, Mr Cohen said he will hunt down every last Hamas fighter, vowing: “If there are 100 Hamas fighters left in Gaza City… I’ll find them for you.”
Mr Cohen, who reveals his life as a spy in his new book The Sword of Freedom, slammed Sir Keir Starmer for his decision last week to formally recognise a Palestinian state – insisting he has “no power to do that”.
