SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Sioux Falls Police Department seized a grenade from a man Sunday afternoon.
According to Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sgt. Aaron Benson, a man who showed up at the police station, had found the grenade belonging to a family member who had died.
Bomb squad technicians were sent to the station to safely take care of the grenade.
Benson said if explosives are ever found, do not bring them to the police station, but rather call the police station and have officials come to you.
