SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man has been arrested for second-degree murder after a deadly assault.
According to Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Cole German, officers were dispatched to 800 North Dakota Avenue just after 1 p.m. Monday for a weapons violation.
Upon arrival, officers found a 70-year-old male with serious injuries. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Timothy Bellonger, 54, was identified as the lone suspect in the incident and was arrested for assault and charged with second-degree murder.
Bellonger is set at a $1 million bond.
