WENDY’S has launched its own version of the fan favorite chicken tenders.
Diners can now get tenders in a Wendy’s 3-piece order, a 4-piece order, or two tenders in a Kids’ Meal.

The news comes after Wendy’s launched a meal in collaboration with Netflix’s Wednesday series.
Wendy’s announced the new tenders, officially called “Wendy’s Tendys”, on social media.
The company described the tenders online as being “crafted using the highest-quality ingredients, including 100% white meat, coated in light, crispy and flavorful breading”.
Wendy’s has also introduced two new-and-improved sauces to go with diners’ tenders.
These are Wendy’s Signature, Sweet Chili, Scorchin’ Hot, Creamy Ranch, Honey BBQ, and Honey Mustard.
A Kids’ Meal only comes with one sauce, with a small charge added on for more.
Lindsay Radkoski, chief marketing officer at The Wendy’s Company, said in a news release that the tenders come after fan feedback.
He commented: “Consumers told us what they wanted in a chicken tender, and we listened – taste-tested, fine-tuned and delivered.
“With six bold new sauces, fans can dip, dunk and customize their Tendys with every bite!”
NEW ADDITIONS
Wendy’s has also recently added the Wendy’s Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal to the menu.
The new item comes with the choice of either 4-piece chicken nuggets, a hamburger, or a cheeseburger as a main.
The meal comes with either fries or apple slices as a side order, a kids’ sized drink, and one of 12 toys inspired by the Frosty soft-serve dessert.
Wendy’s has also rolled out the Boo! Book, which is available as a $1 download in stores and on the chain’s app.
The book gives diners five free Jr. Frosty coupons and a bonus $1.99 Kids’ Meal coupon.

MAJOR CHANGE
On July 18, Kirk Tanner stepped down as the CEO of Wendy’s to replace Michele Buck, who was the CEO of The Hershey Company for eight years.
Tanner had only been at Wendy’s for about a year and a half before his move, and before that, he had been at PepsiCo for three decades.
Wendy’s CFO, Ken Cook, stepped up to take over as CEO in the interim
Tanner has already announced major expansion plans for Wendy’s, with 1,000 new restaurants opening globally by the end of 2028.
