While the reality star came out as queer in 2023, Tiffany, 43, now feels that nonbinary better describes her orientation because she “resonates” more with that community.
“I really do resonate with non-binary because I feel like we are so dual without even recognizing it,” the Celebrity Big Brother alum told the outlet via a video chat.
“Because it takes two sexes for us to get here, so some days I may feel a lot more masculine and sometimes I’m super feminine, and that’s OK,” she explained.
Tiffany also recalled when she had her first kiss with another girl during middle school and how it changed her outlook on her sexuality.
“The first time I ever really kissed a girl, I think it was in junior high, and I knew, and it was fine. It felt good, it felt right. It had to happen at some point,” the former Flavor of Love star said.
“You gonna come out of that closet, and once you do, it’s like, ‘OK, wow, this world is open to me in new ways, and sweetie, shoving me back in the closet is never going to be an option.’”
The TV personality also credited much of her success to her queer fans and the “connection” she shares with them.
“I feel like if I didn’t have such a strong connection with the queer fanbase that I have, I don’t know if I would still be in the game as prevalent as I am,” she admitted.
Tiffany’s new gig as host and executive producer of Slayers: Wheel of Fate on OUTflix features an exclusively LGBTQ+ cast, competing against one another for the $25,000 cash prize.
The New York native first came on the reality TV scene in 2006 as a contestant on VH1’s Flavor of Love, starring rapper Flavor Flav.
She was one of dozens of women who vied for the rap star’s heart during the first two seasons of the series.
Tiffany – nicknamed New York on the show by Flav as a nod to her hometown – was the runner-up in both seasons.
Her dramatic personality led to her later starring in her own spin-off series, I Love New York, which put her in Flav’s shoes as the one searching for love.
She continued her run on the small screen by appearing in numerous reality series thereafter, including starring in House of Villains for two seasons.

Tiffany had many memorable spats on the Bravo series, including with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.
The pair got into a heated exchange on Season 2, which included them screaming at one another and yelling expletives.
Tiffany’s success has stemmed beyond reality TV as she also has her own nail polish line called HBIC Ink.
During an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun in November 2021, Tiffany shared that she wanted to branch out to enhance her career in other ways, besides what fans see on television.
“I’m not 23 anymore, and I’ll be 40 in January, so I think it’s very important for me to expand not only on what I want to do in my career, but also my overall outlook,” the Celebrity Ex on the Beach star said.
“How I present myself and what I’m getting into. I have to be a little more accountable for certain things, and it feels really, really good.
“That’s how I steer my boat now, and to be doing beauty and have the HBIC Ink. line come out? Wow, this is such a new chapter. I’m having such a great time.”
