HARRISON Butker has Kansas City Chiefs fans nervous after a slow start to the season.
Butker, 30, signed a four-year, $25.6 million extension at Arrowhead Stadium in 2024.

The deal made the 30-year-old the highest paid active kicker in the NFL.
But his start to the 2025 season has been anything but elite.
Butker is kicking at 77 percent on field goals this year, going 10-for-13 across the Chiefs four games.
The usually reliable veteran has now missed at least one kick each of the last three weeks.
He has also missed two extra PAT attempts – a big deal for a kicker who was a perfect 38-for-38 on extra points in 2023.
Butker‘s errors have not gone unnoticed by the Chiefs fanbase.
He shanked a field goal wide against the Baltimore Ravens, prompting a flood of commentary on social media.
“He shouldnt lose his job,” wrote one fan on X.
“But they need to bring in someone if for nothing else to light a fire in his a** during practice.”
“Butker is becoming a problem otherwise chiefs are good,” said another.
“Butker missed 4 field goals all of last season, and he’s missed 4 field goals in 4 games this year,” added a third.
“If this continues, the Chiefs need have a serious discussion about Butker,” declared a fourth.
“I understand the FGs he’s missing are long. However, kickers are routinely making 60 yard FGs now and Butker is the highest paid kicker to make those long FGs.”
There is currently no indication from the Chiefs camp that they will move on from Butker.
He put up stunning numbers in 2023, hitting all 38 PAT attempts and going 33-for-35 on field goals.
Since joining the Chiefs in 2017, Butker has hit 88 percent of his field goals and has a record long of 62 yards.
Kansas City are on the road again in Week 5, taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Everbank Stadium.

Butker, a three-time Super Bowl winner, hit the headlines last year after making a divisive commencement speech to Benedictine College graduates in May.
The NFL star also told female graduates to “lean into their vocation” as wives and mothers.
He also called on males to “fight against the cultural emasculation of men.”
“I was trying to speak life for so many women that have dedicated their life to being the homemaker, being the one that raises the children,” Butker explained to the Ingraham Angle.
“I know it may be countercultural to speak those values.
“But I was also experience my wife now that we have three children, being able to be present with the children, the amazing bond we have.”
