Jon Gosselin’s ex ‘in talks’ to join RHONY as she meets up with Bravo show’s stars for secret dinner

JON Gosselin’s ex, Hailey Glassman, has been in communication with Bravo about joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York, a source exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun.

The former couple goes way back, as Hailey is the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Jon’s ex-wife, Kate Gosselin‘s, tummy tuck in 2008.

Hailey is now venturing further into the reality TV world as a cast member, according to a witness who spotted the 38-year-old having dinner with several stars of the show.

The gathering took place earlier this week between Hailey and RHONY stars Erin Lichy and Sai De Silva, as well as Martha Stewart’s makeup artist, Daisy Toye, who has been rumored to be considered for the show.

The group enjoyed a meal at Ascent Lounge in New York City’s Time Warner Center, and were deep in conversation, based on video footage obtained by a source.

The insider claimed the conversation was about a collaboration, and Hailey being “in talks” to join the cast.

Bravo is reportedly considering revamping RHONY for a second time, after its cancellation earlier this year[/caption]

“They were talking about how they were looking forward to filming together,” the insider revealed, as well as them taking a trip together sometime soon.

The source also said that Hailey mentioned an upcoming meeting at 30 Rock, where some Bravo producers and staff are located, to discuss her involvement on the show further.

“They were having a really good time, like the energy was really natural,” they added about the dynamic of the ladies.

SHORT-LIVED ROMANCE

Hailey dated former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon toward the end of his run on the show and after he had separated from Kate.

Word got out about their relationship after they were spotted vacationing together in St. Tropez.

However, their romance didn’t last, as the pair parted ways in December 2009.

Hailey got a close look at the demise of Jon and Kate’s marriage and even accused her former flame of being a major contributor to the drama.

According to RadarOnline, Hailey told the outlet that Jon allegedly threatened to call Child Protective Services on his ex-wife if she didn’t cough up the money he demanded.

She also claimed that Jon laughed about upsetting the mother of his eight children and alleged she had it coming because of what he went through in their marriage.

Jon later hit back at Hailey’s claims in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

“Radar Online has been duped again by Hailey Glassman, who is apparently without a job and desperate for money,” the ex-TLC star wrote.

“This article contains so many lies, they are too numerous to count. It is completely false and without any merit.”

Some reports claimed at the time that Hailey was seeking fame through her involvement with the former TV personality.

Sources alleged that Hailey auditioned for numerous reality shows, including MTV’s Real World and Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club.

She eventually got her big break in the industry, starring on CMT’s Sweet Home Alabama, hoping to correct her “homewrecker” image.

“I was never a homewrecker; everything that the media has portrayed me as is false, from the littlest to the biggest things. I’ve been constantly judged in rag mags and tabloids,” Glassman said in an October 2011 interview.

“I’m a very kind, sweet, nice girl. People said things, they [the media] will pay anything to get a story and frame it how they want.”

Before that, she had campaigned to be on the reality series, Jewish American Princess, according to RadarOnline, but didn’t land the role.

NOT DONE YET

However, at a time when Bravo is reportedly revamping RHONY for a second time, it appears Hailey will get another shot at being on the small screen.

The series’ first makeover occurred in 2023 with an entirely new cast than the original stars.

Despite Bravo’s efforts, it was announced in May 2025 that they’d decided to pull the plug on the show after 15 seasons.

Page Six reported that the network hadn’t lost hope for the series and would possibly bring it back in the future.

This led to chatter that various well-known names might’ve joined the cast for a RHONY revival Part II.

In September, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Today host Sheinelle Jones might have secretly joined the Real Housewives franchise.

It followed an earlier report that Erin, Sai, and Jessel Taank were the only cast members from the previous season who were confirmed to be returning.

‘CATASTROPHIC’ RATINGS

Regardless of what Bravo decides for the future of RHONY, it will most likely require a significant overhaul, as ratings dropped 1000 percent from its earlier days, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported last November.

Weeks earlier, a source told The U.S. Sun that the ratings decline had been “catastrophic,” while also noting that streaming services had severely impacted cable television.

As for Hailey making her debut on the show, she could bring the energy and dynamic the series needs.

According to Hailey’s social media channels, she’s a prominent publicist in the NYC area and has racked up 10K Instagram followers.
