TERRY Bradshaw puzzled his Fox NFL Sunday colleagues with a stunning wife and divorce analogy.
The Pittsburgh Steelers legend was tasked with previewing a Week 4 matchup on the football pregame show.
Host Curt Menefee asked his analyst colleagues to analyze a respective game.
Bradshaw was assigned the Jacksonville Jaguars-San Francisco 49ers matchup to discuss.
But the 77-year-old surprised the world on live television with an analogy.
Bradshaw bizarrely compared the Jaguars’ star pass rusher, Josh Hines-Allen, who had put pressure on quarterbacks in the first three weeks of the season, to a divorce situation.
“I’m trying to think of something cute to say here,” he began his analogy.
Bradshaw then asked colleague Michael Strahan, “What’s scarier, is it 18 quarterback pressures from Allen, or would it be like your wife threatening to divorce you 18 times before she actually does divorce you?”
“The scary thing is what?”
Strahan was speechless and didn’t answer the question at first.
Howie Long jumped in and joked, “Is there a door number three?”
Strahan finally answered Bradshaw and said, “At least one of [those options] I can prepare for.”
Long then laughed at Strahan’s witty comment.
But Bradshaw stuck to his line of thinking with his analogy, saying, “I’m trying to think of something cute.”
The Pro Football Hall of Famer continued with his argument as he gave kudos to the Jaguars’ defense and pass rush.
“I just don’t know about this Jaguars bunch,” Bradshaw said.
