He was spotted before and after the game in a two-tone suit that has divided opinion.
Fans have taken to social media to debate his red and black outfit.
“Game was over when Mac Jones put on this suit,” one fan posted on X.
“What is he wearing?” another simply wrote.
Jones has received high praise for his performance against the Rams as he threw two first-half touchdowns.
The quarterback is in his first season with the 49ers after a year with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He was named to start again versus the Rams as first-choice Brock Purdy, 25, remains sidelined with a toe injury.
It was a tough afternoon for the quarterback as Jones vomited on the sidelines as the game went to overtime.
Jones now faces a race against time to be fit for the 49ers’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday.
His outfit of choice has led to several comic book references online.
However, fans are unsure which Batman villain he most resembled with his red and black suit.
“Mac looks like a male version of Harley Quinn,” a third fan posted.
“Jones channeled ‘Batman Forever’ Two-Face with the pregame TNF fit,” a fourth replied.
The quarterback gave a cold-blooded eight-word response when asked about his fashion choices in the post-game press conference.
