Teresa Giudice bowed out of the training after refusing to watch her daughter, Gia Giudice, in the boxing match.
The emotional The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was faced with watching her daughter step into the ring for a sparring match against another contestant.
Gia was set to face off against former U.S. soccer pro Christie Pearce Rampone.
She left voluntarily, explaining that she couldn’t witness her daughter fighting without stepping in to defend her.
Overcome with worry, Teresa abruptly walked out, refusing to watch the fight.
She left in tears, shocking viewers with her sudden departure from the show.
The 53-year-old said: “I’m withdrawing. I can’t see you fight. You got this. Love you guys.”
She added: “I’m not a quitter, but it’s going to be hard for me to not be able to step in if Gia’s in a vulnerable position.
“I just want to protect her.”
Gia ended up losing her match, but the DS assured her she gave a “valiant effort.”
Other abrupt exits
There have now been three recruits who have departed the show.
Also in the episode, Eva Marcille emerged lifeless in the water during a gruelling underwater challenge, forcing divers to intervene and rescue her.
The model was breathing, but visibly shaken by the incident.
She was forced to leave the show after doctors advised her to quit for good for her own safety.
The Valley star, Brittany Cartwright, also abruptly quit, but on the first day of training.
Brittany struggled to complete the intense courses, which involved rappelling out of a helicopter and hauling heavy equipment up a hill.
She ultimately decided to leave after 15 hours into the 10-day training.
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test airs Thursdays 9/8c on Fox.
