Theo Von, a comedian and podcaster, joined the show as their guest picker, but he seemed to be more focused on charming Sims than predictions.

Sims was signalling that it was time for Von’s next set of guesses when he made his move.

She said, “The guys are ready for your second round of picks, so go ahead, right up there.”

Von responded, “Oh, I’m already gone?”

And Sims told him he was.

However, the comedian didn’t seem to fancy leaving Sims.

“Do I get to see you again?” he asked.

Here came Sims’ brutal line.

She bluntly stated, “No, I hope not.”

After the show, Von responded to the video, saying, “shooters shoot”.

Sims joined GameDay in 2022 and has since also joined ESPN’s coverage of men’s college basketball as a sideline reporter.

Before her broadcasting career, she was a school teacher in Boston and New York City.

After years in education, Sims decided to leave teaching to pursue a life in sports and fitness.

She received her personal training certification in 2016 and joined Peloton in 2016.

She became a fitness instructor, teaching strength, running, and boot camp classes.

A few years later, in 2021, she stepped into the world of broadcasting as an in-arena host and reporter for the New York Liberty.

Her basketball background is strong, having played up until college.

In high school, she was a two-time all-star and four-time league champion.

And she played DIII college ball at Trinity College, where she captained the side for three years.

In addition to her work with ESPN, Sims has also been a regular contributor to ABC’s Good Morning America since April 2023.
