SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man is behind bars after an aggravated assault that happened over the weekend.
According to Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sgt. Aaron Benson, a 21-year-old victim, was taken to a local emergency room after a stabbing that took place around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
The victim said she had been walking to her car when the suspect pulled up in a vehicle as she was leaving a store and yelled about how she owed the suspect money. The two got into a physical fight before the victim was stabbed once in the torso.
The suspect got back into the car and fled. He was later found at a rural Harrisburg residence. Officers arrested Allan Lehne, 61, for Aggravated Assault.
Benson said the two knew each other, but their relationship is unknown. Benson said the victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.
