According to the Daily Mail, police in Clearwater, Florida are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Hogan’s death.
Following his July death, police say the status of Hogan’s case is “ongoing.”
“The status of the case has not changed,” police told the Daily Mail.
Alongside police continuing to investigate Hogan’s death, his widow, Sky Daily, is debating bringing forward a medical malpractice lawsuit for a surgery he had months before his death.
If that case is brought forward, it could add years to the timeline of Hogan’s death investigation.
Hogan collapsed in his Florida home on July 24 and died in the hospital.
According to medical records, he died of an acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack.
Hogan also had a history of atrial fibrillation and leukemia.
Police maintain that there was no foul play in Hogan’s death.
While police say there is no foul play, they also explained that “the unique nature that has required us to interview multiple witnesses and seek medical records from a variety of providers… all this takes time.”
Police have yet to release bodycam footage from Hogan’s medical emergency.
His daughter, Brooke, is fighting to see that footage.
“FACT: I’ve 100% gotten legit calls from professionals – from police officials to nurse that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative we/!/everyone’s been hearing,” she wrote on Instagram.
Brooke was left out of her father’s will following his death.
