Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans’ mother Barbara was hospitalized after suffering a stroke, The U.S. Sun can confirm
According to sources, the 72-year-old grandmother – who currently has custody of Jenelle’s son Jace, 16 – is now recovering at home in North Carolina.
TMZ, who first reported the news, revealed that Jenelle immediately flew to be by her mother’s side.
Jenelle recently moved out of her homestate to Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Babs was taken to the hospital on Friday, Jace wasn’t with her when it happened,” a source told The U.S. Sun about the medical emergency.
“Jenelle is now in North Carolina too, though it’s unclear if she was there for Barbara.”
