Lawmaker urges DPWH to reduce project costs by 25 percent to prevent kickbacks

Batangas First District Rep. Leandro Legarda Leviste on Tuesday called on the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to lower the cost of its projects in the proposed 2026 budget by 25 percent to “prevent kickbacks”.
