Actress Yashu Dhiman who has recently joined the cast of Colors’ Parineetii is excited about this opportunity and responsibility given to her. Yashu has joined the post leap cast of the Balaji Telefilms show, and plays the role of Sharda who is Preet’s mother and has raised her into a confident individual.
Yashu was last seen in the Star Plus show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua in an extremely lovable role. The actress loves to portray positive roles. She says, “I again play a positive role in Parineetii. I love playing positive roles, as they are more relatable. However, I will want to venture into negative roles too. I am keeping my fingers crossed.”
She is a single mother who has raised Preet (Anchal Sahu) like her own daughter. “The mother-daughter bond in Parineetii is what will be close to everyone’s hearts. We have already seen Preet toiling hard to save her mother who is fighting a life-and-death situation.”
Ask her about the unexpected closure of Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, and she says, “Yes, that was a team which I will cherish the most. We miss being on that set even today.”
Talking about the bond she shares with all on the sets of Parineetii, she says, “It is great to be among young actors. Anchal Sahu and my other onscreen daughter are such a bundle of energy on the set.”
Tell her that the post-leap phase of Parineetii resembles Bhagya Lakshmi in many ways, and she states, “I have also heard that. But the lead girl lost both her parents in Bhagya Lakshmi. However, Preet’s mother in Parineetii has been saved. I would say that my character appears to be similar to that of Sarla of Kumkum Bhagya. She is one person showering only love.”
