Television star Karan Patel, known for his role in Ekta Kapoor’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein in the role of Raman Bhalla, is all set to make his debut on the vertical platform.
We at IWMBuzz.com hear that he has been roped in for an upcoming series by Shakeb Sayed Studios for Story TV.
According to our sources, “Shakeb Sayed Studios, known for popular vertical shows like Kismat Ka Sikandar, Asli Nawabzada, Royal Affairs, and many more, is coming up with another new show for Story TV. Karan has been finalised to play the lead role of a gangster kingpin.”
Our source further added, “He will be seen as Jakko, a don who has committed all kinds of wrongdoings but now wants to change. An unexpected incident brings a major twist in his life. The story revolves around how he deals with this twist and how his life transforms afterwards.”
While Karan remained unavailable for comment, producer Shakeb Sayed confirmed the buzz. He said, “Karan is an old friend, and we worked together in a couple of TV shows. I am really happy that we are working together.”
Karan Patel has played engaging roles and has explored varied genres and mediums of work. His notable projects include Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Nach Baliye, Khatra Khatra Khatra, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, and many more.
