WALMART has rolled out a new frozen chicken meal that fans believe to be a great KFC dupe.
The retailer is adding another item to its breakfast selection designed to save you time at the drive-thru.

The Bettergoods frozen breakfast line at Walmart has been expanded, and one specific item is capturing extra attention.

The food item is described as a breaded chicken breast with rib meat and hot honey drizzle.
The hot honey chicken is encased by the soft waffle outer-layer.
In April, KFC brought back the Chicken and Waffles combo after a hiatus of five years.
It is currently served as a helping of classic KFC fried chicken and Belgian waffles, side by side.
It was originally served as a sandwich back in 2018, but that item is no longer on menus.
So, Walmart is filling a hole with its new breakfast item that KFC fans can now get, just not in the way they originally could.
It puts Walmart in an interesting position with the honey chicken, because KFC customers have already had a taste of what they once had.
Walmart is fulfilling the vision from five years ago and giving returning KFC customers what they want.

There are three other Bettergoods items that have come to Walmart, including Custard Filled Waffles, Mixed Berry Filled Waffles and the Gluten-Free Salsa Verde Hash Brown Breakfast Sandwich.
The Breakfast Sandwich is served with chorizo sausage patty between two salsa verde-flavored egg, cheese, and potato hash browns.
Then, the waffles give customers two distinct flavors, both as indulgent as each other.
The Custard Filled Waffles are described as “rich and indulgent”, while the mixed berry features raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry.

Each box of waffles includes six servings, while the breakfast sandwiches come two to a pack.
All of these were announced on Instagram recently and several customers couldn’t hold back their excitement.
Many praised the Bettergoods brand, as well as the new food items.
One person said: “I have yet to try a Bettergoods product that isn’t ridiculously good.”
Another added: “Time to make some room in my freezer.”
