Ayesha Singh is ruling hearts with her appearance as Mannat in the Colors TV show Mannat — Har Khushi Paane Ki, produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Content Creators, and now the show is set for a big seven-year leap. And with the leap, a new character, Dua, who will be Mannat’s daughter, will turn the story even more interesting. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, Ayesha opened up on the new entry and her character.
Ayesha Khan, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, shared about the new character Dua in Mannat —Har Khushi Paane Ki revealing the Dua’s entry is special for her character Mannat as after losing her mother and marriage getting called off, he character needed a ray of hope and the lord sent Dua as her support and the reason to bounce back. The actress emphasized that the storyline will be more engaging and interesting, but is unsure whether her character Mannat will reunite with Dua’s father Vikrant after the big betrayal.
However when asked about the growth and changes the actress has experienced playing the role of Mannat, Ayesha said, “I think it’s a beautiful graph that I see, Mannat at one point she had her own ambitions, wanted to a beautiful chef then she had a lot of problems in her personal life and then she had identity crisis about you know like who is her mother, and maasi and all and then she finds ‘Baba Ji Da Banda’ then she loses ‘Baba Ji Da Banda’ losses her parents.”
Further, Ayesha highlighted, “There is so much that has happened in her life, and the growth of her character that she saw so much struggle and on her own will turned a chef and also rebelled because she fought with people like Aishwarya Rai Singh, Vishakha, and she is a responsible kid who is now taking care of the child and the family. So I think it’s really commendable to see a character, a genuine growth, like from being a Mannat who got the golden medal, and she was so bubbly catching the train, so she reached a point, so it feels really nice that you know you live the journey.”
She concluded with, “One thing about television I like very much is that you know you get to live your character and see the growth, you get to live those moments because you don’t just imagine it, you get to live it.”
