
Things went wrong on the field—Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur — during the Mumbai vs Uttarakhand Match. Angkrish Raghuvanshi suffered a major head injury and has been stretchered to the hospital. The incident occurred during the 30th over of the second innings, while Angkrish was attempting to take a catch but failed.
According to reports, Angkrish was making the attempt to take the catch during a “deep mid-wicket,” however, he failed, and his head hit the turf on the grounds. Following that, he experienced a malicious pain in his head.
Videos went viral all across the internet, where we see him being rushed for care on a stretcher. It occurred during the second innings of the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy match—at that time Tanush Kotian was bowling for the 30th over.
Soon after Angkrish was badly injured, play was put on hold. However, there was a delay in arranging the stretcher and ambulance, and it was reported that the player was having difficulty moving his head due to neck and head injuries. Later, he was taken to Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital for CT scans.
