OLYMPIC superstar Noah Lyles has called off a race against NFL star Tyreek Hill.
The 2024 Paris Olympics gold medalist revealed the reasoning behind pulling out of the anticipated event.

Back in February, Lyles and the Miami Dolphins’ star Hill confirmed that they agreed to race during a joint interview with People magazine.
The distance wasn’t finalized, but the plan was to “shut down” Times Square in New York City for the race.
However, Lyles cancelled the race due to “personal reasons” and “complications.”
The 27-year-old explained the process during the Sport Beach event in Cannes, France, on Monday.
“We were very deep into creating the event,” Lyles said, as seen in a clip revealed by the New York Post.
Lyles shared that the race was supposed to take place this upcoming weekend.
“In fact, it was supposed to happen this weekend,” he said.
“Unfortunately, there were some things, complications, personal reasons that it just didn’t come to pass, but we were full on.”
Lyles and Hill’s beef began last August when the Pro Bowl wideout said he could beat the sprinter in a race.
From then on, the pair have been trash-talking one another.
In February, when Lyles won his fourth straight 60-meter indoor title, he tore off his race bib to reveal the message, “Tyreek Could Never.”
Last Friday, Hill, who’s a two-time state track champion in high school, ran a 100-meter preliminary and recorded a personal-best time of 10.15 seconds in California.
And the Super Bowl champion responded to Lyles by holding a handwritten sign that read, “Noah Could Never.”
Hill continued his trolling of Lyles by posting a meme on X in response to the race cancellation announcement.
Lyles said plenty of people, including potential sponsors, believed the planned race against Hill was pure fiction.

“A lot of people didn’t believe it to be true. They thought it was just, ‘Oh, this is just them talking online,’” Lyles said.
“The companies didn’t believe it’s real.”
Neither Lyles nor Hill has revealed whether there will be a new date for the race.
Hill doesn’t have too much time left to participate in the race, however, as training camp will take place in late July.
