LOTTO officials are urging players to check any old tickets – as a $1.1 million prize has gone unclaimed for nearly a year.
The lucky player has less than three months to claim the prize before it is gone for good.

The ticket dates back to a Lucky Day draw held in Chicago on September 8, 2024, at Miskas Liquor, 6410 W 63rd St.
The $1.1 million prize will expire on September 8 this year.
Prizes must be claimed within one year of the draw, according to the Illinois Lottery’s website.
Another Lucky Day player also stands to gain big.
The player won a huge $550,015 Lucky Day Lotto prize from the April 27 draw this year.
The prize remains unclaimed.
The ticket was bought at the Circle K #4701247 on East Main Street in Streator, Illinois.
Just over a month ago, another player won a $300,000 prize at the May 14 draw.
The winning ticket, purchased at Howard BP in Evanston, Illinois, remains unclaimed.
The Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-exclusive lottery game, with both both midday and evening draws.
Players choose five numbers from 1 to 45, and jackpots start at $100,000.
It’s known for having better odds compared to larger national games.
The odds of winning the Lucky Day Lotto jackpot are about 1 in 1.2 million – compared to Powerball’s 1 in 292 million and Mega Millions’ 1 in 303 million.
But Powerball and Mega Millions generally offer much larger jackpots.
Meanwhile, a $10,000 Mega Millions ticket sold in Colorado in a December 2024 draw remains unclaimed.
This ticket is set to expire in several days – on June 22.
A $30,000 Mega Millions ticket from a December draw in Colorado also remains unclaimed and is set to expire on June 25.
In most states, Mega Millions prizes expire 180 days after the draw.
