The charming Arjit Taneja is on a roll right now. After ending and exiting from the well-performed show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, the actor is now seen in the Star Plus show Jhanak in the episodes post-20-year leap. After winning hearts as Virat Singh Ahuja, now the actor transformed himself into a cop, Rishi Chatterjee. In the exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, the actor spilled beans on his bond with co-star Riya Sharma, excitement for the new show, and more.
Talking to IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, Arjit spilled beans on some details about his entry in the show.
Expressing his excitement to join Jhanak, Arjit said, “Actually, if I tell the truth so, I’m excited as well as nervous because it’s a new story, a new character. I’m also nervous because the previous character in the show received immense love. This show also had a different story earlier, and we are doing the 2.0 version, so we are looking forward to it; this excitement and nervousness are of good type, and I think it should be there.”
Sharing about his bond with co-star Riya Sharma and how much fun they have together behind-the-scenes. The actor jokingly said, “No, not at all (fun), I hate her.”
As Arjit Taneja makes a new pair with Riya Sharma In Jhanak, the actor emphasized that his past Jodi of Amruta and Virat is over now, and they are happy wherever they are as they had a happy ending. But he further highlighted, “This (Jhanak) is a new story, new character, new people, so its chemistry will be different, but I hope people like it, and also I hope that people should not compare the new Jodi with the previous ones.”
Star Plus show Jhanak is produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures and casts Arjit Taneja, Riya Sharma, and Twinkle Arora as leads after the 20-year generation leap.
