DUNKIN’S beloved summer menu is about to see a switch-up as the chain rolls out the highly-anticipated second drop, and fans are not happy.
As the coffee giant sets out to axe the first round of its summer menu in just hours, foodies are mourning the loss of its popular pistachio beverages – but they’re not completely out of luck.

Dunkin’ dropped the first round of its summer menu on April 30, featuring a lineup of new and returning sweets, drinks, and savory items.
Some of the fan-favorite items that made a comeback on the summer menu include the Ham & Swiss Pretzel Sliders, Arctic Cherry Dunkin’ Energy, Chicken & Bacon Croissant Stuffer, Iced Dunkalatte, and the Sweet Black Pepper Bacon.
The first phase of Dunkin’s summer menu also featured brand new items, including the Tropical Guava Dunkin’ Refresher – a guava, passion fruit, and orange-flavored beverage made with B vitamins and available with green tea, lemonade, or sparkling water.
The Iced Strawberry Lemon Loaf – a lemon cake with strawberry swirl and strawberry flavored white icing – also was a popular feature on the chain’s summer menu.
The third new item in the first drop was Dunkin’s Pistachio Signature Latte, made with espresso, milk, pistachio flavor swirl, and topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and waffle cone pieces.
However, the beloved beverage, along will all of the other items available in the first round of the chain’s summer menu, will be discontinued in just hours.
Items in the first phase will no longer be available to foodies starting on Wednesday, June 25, as Dunkin’ makes way for the second round.
SAD SIPS
Dunkin’ fans are already mourning the loss of the sweet pistachio-flavored drink, expressing their cries on Facebook.
While a handful of customers shared in a post that they were still able to order the Pistachio Signature Latte, several complained that the drink had already disappeared at their local Dunkin’ ahead of the official discontinuation day.
“I spoke to the manager at one of my go to Dunkin’s. He said he is preparing for the second batch of summer menu,” explained one fan.
“I am late to the pistachio game so I feel your sadness. I too was about to get my pistachio iced coffee earlier, but yep, it wasn’t available anymore.”
Many customers were heartbroken by the impending discontinuation of the nutty drink, with one fan writing, “All gonna need to protest to get it back.”
“Dunkin’ discontinued pistachio – this is my 13th reason,” cried another foodie on X.
SWEET LOOPHOLE
Fans are not completely out of luck, however, as there may still be a way to score the seasonal limited-time flavor.

Whether or not a Dunkin’ location is able to make the Pistachio Signature Latte depends on if they have the pistachio syrup on hand.
Supply varies by location, which is why some locations stopped offering the drink ahead of the official last day tomorrow.
On the other hand, some Dunkin’s may have leftover pistachio syrup and still be able to whip up the pistachio drink for fans.
“If the store has some left they can sell it until they run out,” explained one Facebook user.
“It’s still available until they run out of the syrup. I got mine the other day but some places don’t have it anymore,” said another.
As Dunkin’ prepares to drop its popular pistachio drinks, another fan complained that their breakfast staple was served without a key “stuffed” ingredient, pushing the chain to promise a probe.
Meanwhile, a popular coffee chain that’s “absolutely 100% better than Dunkin’” is opening up another location in a popular city.
