A FORMER colleague of Skip Bayless has slammed the analyst for his views on Tyrese Haliburton.
Indiana Pacers superstar Haliburton suffered a devastating injury blow in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

The 25-year-old screamed on the floor in agony and pounded the court in frustration.
He battled through injury in the NBA Finals series to lead his team.
But Haliburton tore his ACL on Sunday night during the first quarter of the decisive game.
Bayless posted on X during the game.
The former FS1 Undisputed star said, “The Pacers brilliantly took the big-game pressure off Haliburton, who routinely no-shows, by planting the ‘injury excuse’ that the media swallowed whole.”
Bayless did take a more empathetic stance after Haliburton’s serious injury.
He said, “OK, now Haliburton looks hurt. Hope it’s not too bad.”
And Bayless added, “And Unfortunately, that Haliburton injury looked like more than a calf pull.”
But his tweets apparently accusing Haliburton of faking a calf injury didn’t go down well with a former colleague.
Doug Gottlieb hosts his own show on Fox Sports radio.
He used to work at ESPN with Bayless while the latter was also with Fox until recently.
Gottlieb said on his show, “So I’m watching the game and I see Tyrese Haliburton go down.
“Skip Bayless tweeted, ‘The Pacers brilliantly took the big-game pressure off Haliburton, who routinely no-shows, by planting the injury excuse that the media swallowed whole.’
“So, it’s on Twitter, and all of the sudden, Tyrese Halliburton goes down with a torn Achilles tendon.
“Obviously, shortly there after, Skip started to tweet his way out of it.

“But it’s embarrassing. He basically said he wasn’t hurt, he just wasn’t playing well.
“And it was an injury excuse.”
Haliburton was left in visible distress after suffering the injury.
His Pacers team fell to a heartbreaking 103-91 loss in Game 7.
And the 25-year-old shared an emotional message with his fans with a picture on his hospital bed.
