The Valley villain Jax Taylor broke TWO vital rehab ‘rules’ and could have been ‘kicked out’ of treatment facility

THE Valley villain Jax Taylor had broken two vital rehab ‘rules’ during his treatment that ultimately could have gotten him ‘kicked out’ of the facility, The U.S. Sun has learned.

Season 2 of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff has showcased Jax’s alarming behavior before, during, and after he checked into a treatment facility for addiction to cocaine

While he was seeking treatment last Summer, Jax, 45, continued to display concerning behavior, including uncovering cameras to “spy” on his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright

Brittany, 36, also accused Jax of planting audio recording devices in their home while he was away so he could listen in on her conversations in a devastating scene that was captured by Bravo cameras this season.

Throughout his weeks seeking treatment, Jax would send “rage texts” to Brittany and even threatened that he “gave out her address” to his friends who were going to “stop by” in scenes that all played out on The Valley this season.

Additionally, he put Brittany and their son, Cruz, 4, in harm’s way by admitting to not paying any of the bills or their mortgage on their $2m Valley Village farmhouse for months and months – in episodes that also played out on The Valley.

The negligence in the payments put the home, which Brittany was living in with their toddler, at risk of foreclosure, she confessed.

According to an addiction expert at Psyclarity, where Jax sought treatment at one of their Los Angeles locations, any patient who displayed such behavior would have raised concerns at the facility had it known what was going on.

While the center could not comment on Jax’s behavior specifically, they said of any patient who acted in a similar manner: “We do not condone harassment of any kind, and we certainly do not encourage patients to partake in unhealthy habits that hinder the recovery process.

“If a patient is making threats or derogatory comments about others, that does not align with our values at the center and we would have stepped in if we were aware of it and it needed our attention.

“In the case that is being described here, it sounds like that patient was in the throws of an emotional crisis, potential withdrawal symptoms or a variety of other factors that contributed to the outburst.

“If we learned that a patient was acting like that in our facility, we would absolutely step in to try to diffuse the situation – within the perimeters of what we are allowed to do.”

The specialist added: ”We typically do not kick people out of our centers as our goal is to help them with every obstacle, often times when they’re at their lowest and most destructive point.

“That being said, we do have certain lines that cannot be crossed. Physical threats of any kind are not tolerated.

“If the safety of others, whether they are at the facility or on the outside, is threatened, the matter will be dealt with swiftly.

“If someone was warned they are not to threaten or harass others, even if just via the telephone, and they did not comply, that could be grounds to be kicked out of the facility, yes.”

Many viewers of this season of The Valley have been stunned that Jax is even allowed to use his phone as much as he did – something that’s due in part to California state law.

“It’s standard protocol for patients to be blocked out for electronic use for 4-7 days.

“We are not able to forcibly remove someone’s cell phone from them, they need to be willing to give it up themselves.

“But we strongly limit access and hold the phones for a duration of time to not entice any distractions.

“Following the 4-7 day blockout period, we introduce phones with limited access,” it was added about cell phone use at the center.

GETTING J-AXED?

While Jax has continued to display troubling behavior, viewers have called for Bravo to fire him once and for all – something that The U.S. Sun previously reported may not happen anytime soon.

“The fallout has been worse than [Jax] thought. I think he thought that if he prefaced this season by warning everyone his behavior was bad, he thought it would all be swept under the rug.

“That’s not the case. The cries to get him fired have been louder than he was prepared for.

“It’s been a blow to his podcast, it’s impacted other business ventures he had in the works.

“Bravo hears the outrage loud and clear but there have been no talks to fire him yet,” the insider claimed.

Despite producers struggling to give Jax the axe, a change.org petition with over 12,000 signatures have called for the network to drop the troubled star.
