Thrifty shoppers can buy the metal feature at Walmart for just $5[/caption]

The genius hack, which is about to change your life, was shared on Facebook by one mom who goes under the username Isaacandandreagames.

The brilliant trick involves using something you already have – or if not, something you can find at Walmart for a bargain price, a paper tower holder.

According to the smart mom, all you need to do is simply remove the paper towels and instead, place the plastic bag roll on the holder.

Once done, put the holder where you usually hide it, and voila, you’re good to go – no more annoying mess and plastic bags everywhere.

In her video, the cash-smart mum placed the metal feature in the cabinet underneath the sink.

”This is brilliant and very convenient!” she wrote in the caption, as over 200 people flooded to comments.

”This is actually very handy to use,” the mother went on.

One savvy person said: ”I’ve been doing this for years! Anyone who ever used yarn knows all about this.”

Another chimed in, writing: ”Thanks for sharing.”

A third warned: ”Me too. All bags are not applicable to this though.”

However, not everyone was entirely convinced, as some sceptics also flocked to share their thoughts.

One commented: ”Why not keep it in the box? This doesn’t make it easier to use.”

Another shopper reckoned: ”If you leave them in the box they came in, it dispenses one at a time without the extra holder.”

If you’re concerned about the paper towel holders looking weathered, fear not, as Walmart claimed their buy boasts a ”shiny finish that will not rush”.

Cleaning hacks and tips

Here are some tips to help you when you clean your home next:

More cleaning content

In more sad news, Coscto recently quietly removed a beloved Kirkland Signature item from shelves in recent months.

The discontinuation has caused an uproar among cleaning fans who frequently bought it during weekly grocery trips.

Several customers have taken to Reddit where they noted they could no longer find the Kirkland Disinfecting Wipes.

The cleaning essential was previously sold at the warehouse retailer in a four-pack for $9.99, whereas competing brands, such as Walmart, would charge a whopping $15 for a similar product.

Customers liked the texture of these wipes for scrubbing, and some even noted that these Kirkland wipes were big enough to attach to a Swiffer, reported Yahooo! Finance.

Many thrifty shoppers stocked up on the wipes during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 – however, it appears that they’re not stocked anymore.

Furious Costco fans have shared their frustration on social media, with dozens saying they ”missed” them.

”I miss these. I found this one way back underneath my bathroom sink,” one Redditor recently wrote, alongside a snap of the cleaning product.

Another one said: ”Those were the best. I miss them every time I wipe down kitchen and bathroom surfaces with inferior Clorox wipes. Oh those textured ones.”

A third chimed in: ”I miss them. I am down to my last package. Was hoping to replenish last week but could not find any.”

But while many begged the warehouse retailer to bring the wipes back, others revealed they’d already found an alternative – that not only works just as good but is also cheaper.

”I order the Nice N Clean wipes from Amazon. They seem to be the same to me,” wrote one online shopper.

”I still have the box of their ‘generic’ cousins (Nice ‘N Clean I think is the name) my store got in around Covid time when the Kirkland branded packs weren’t available,” another one added.

Retailing for just $8.79, Nice ‘N CLEAN® Disinfecting Wipes are pre-moistened wipes that contain a proprietary solution specially developed to clean, deodorize, sanitize, and disinfect.

They have regular and scrubbing applicators designed to help you tackle a variety of cleaning challenges at home, at the office, and at school – wherever you need a convenient way to clean.
