COLIN COWHERD was called out by viewers for his “embarrassing” mistake regarding the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots.
Cowherd’s error came as he hosted Thursday night’s edition of The Herd on FS1.

The NFL pundit has headed up the show for the best part of a decade.
But a huge blunder led to criticism from fans.
Cowherd used his platform to discuss changes to the NBA.
Teams who exceeded the luxury tax face having to pay heavy penalties.
And it means numerous franchises have been forced to ditch players with big contracts.
However, Cowherd decided it was fair to compare the future of the NBA to the present of the NFL.
He claimed that there would no longer be a dominant team in basketball capable of winning successive championships.
And Cowherd added that it’s “impossible” to win back-to-back titles in the NFL.
He even name-checked Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in his rant.
But it backfired as fans quickly pointed out that Brady did win successive titles with his former side.
And Cowherd also overlooked the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs only recently managed to achieve the same feat.
His initial rant saw Cowherd say: “I think the NBA is gonna look more like the NFL where it is virtually impossible.
“Nobody wins three in a row, it’s almost impossible. Not even Brady and Belichick won back-to-back.
“The NFL, you can’t win back-to-backs. You have to move off people.”
Fans hit back at Cowherd, with one saying: “He’s not aware the Patriots won back-to-back Super Bowls.”
Another declared: “The Chiefs just went back to back literally 16 months ago.”
One noted: “Get him off the air waves.”
Another added: “This guy just likes to hear himself talk.”
