The ban imposed on Pakistani channels and artists due to the tense situation between India and Pakistan now seems to be relaxed. A few weeks ago, when war-like situations arose, the Indian government banned the social media handles of some major Pakistani YouTube channels and artists. Now that the situation between the two countries has become somewhat normal, this ban has been partially lifted.
Now major Pakistani entertainment channels like Hum TV, ARY Digital, and Har Pal Geo are again available on YouTube. The YouTube links of these channels are now opening in India and people are able to watch their content.

However, the social media handles of some Pakistani actors and influencers are still not visible in India, for example, Hania Aamir, Atif Aslam’s Instagram accounts are still unavailable.
Users on platforms like Reddit have vented their anger over the issue. Many have questioned the government’s policies, calling them “double standards” as the ban was imposed when the atmosphere among the public was heated and now when things have calmed down, the ban was quietly lifted without any official announcement.
One Reddit user wrote, “Deshbhakti puri ho gayi… sarkar ko vote mil gaya, ab ban hata lo.”
While another quipped, “Ind vs Pak match aayega, sab bhool jayenge. Deshbhakti TV tak hi thi.”
For now, viewers are getting a chance to watch Pakistani dramas and shows again that too without a VPN.
