TRAVIS Kelce and LeBron James are the next sporting icons tipped for retirement.
And it would be the end of an era once the pair step away from the arena.

Both men have committed to playing at least one more season.
But the future beyond that is yet to be comfirmed.
One person who has already gone a step further with his announcement is Aaron Rodgers.
The quarterback, 41, has signed for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2025 season.
He agreed a one-year contract worth $13.6 million after months of speculation over his future.
Rodgers went a step further by announcing that this would most likely be his final year.
Kelce announced that the end of the 2024 Chiefs season didn’t sit well for him.
He has worked to get himself in top shape for the 2025 NFL campaign at the age of 35.
The tight end has been in the league since 2013 and his legacy as one of the greatest is already confirmed.
Two Fox analysts said earlier this year that the time was right for Kelce to retire.
“It’s time for a clean break,” Colin Cowherd claimed.
While Michael Irvin said, “I know how much he loves to play ball, but once you say it in your mind, it’s a wrap.”
But for James, his retirement calls came from closer to home.
The NBA great committed to playing for a 23rd season in his remarkable career.
He signed a $52m player option to return to the Los Angeles Lakers.
James went for dinner in New York recently.
And the 40-year-old made a retirement revelation which was caught on camera.
He could be heard saying, “Savannah wants me to f*****g retire in the next year or so.”
If LeBron’s wife Savannah gets her way, it will bring to an end one of the greatest careers ever.
And Kelce has his own partner Taylor Swift’s feelings to consider when he eventually calls it a day.
