Krispy Kreme is making the most patriotic day of the year even more so across its locations.
This year, you can get one free Original Glazed donut, and all you need to do is one special thing.
To get it, you need to visit a participating Krispy Kreme shop in red, white and blue on July 4.
There is a strict limit of one donut per customer, it is important to note.
Krispy Kreme is also unveiling its new collection, inspired by the stars and stripes.
The collection offers three new donuts as part of its “Stars, Stripes & Sweetness Collection”.
These include the Freedom Ring Doughnut, USA Party Doughnut and the Vanilla Cookies & Kreme Liberty Crunch Doughnut.
Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer, stressed that the new collection is perfect for the holiday.
He said: “Whether you’re headed to parades, parties or pools for the holiday, our Stars, Stripes & Sweetness Collection is the perfect addition to sweeten your Fourth of July celebrations and make the day a blast.”
NEW COLLECTION
The new collection features three new offerings designed to celebrate the country’s colors.
The Freedom Ring Doughnut is an Original Glazed dipped in white icing, blue sprinkles and white stars.
This is then finished off with red iced piping.
Then, the USA Party Doughnut is an Original Glazed piped with white buttercreme and sprinkled with USA party sprinkle blend.
The donut is also topped with a USA sugar piece.
The third and final donut in the collection is the Vanilla Cookies & Kreme, also known as the Liberty Crunch Doughnut.
This is made of an unglazed shell, filled with vanilla cookies & Kreme filling.
The donut is dipped in white icing and topped with a few goodies.
You can get your Liberty Crunch topped with vanilla cookies, patriotic sprinkles and white icing drizzle.
This new collection is available in-shop for both pickup and delivery, individually and by the dozen.
Customers can also purchase the “Stars, Stripes & Sweetness Collection” in a 6-pack box selling a retailers.
