THE REAL reason Ava Max’s tour was abruptly canceled has been revealed as furious fans fume that the last-minute decision is ‘a career killer.’
Fans of the pop star were shocked on Thursday when they were alerted via Ticketmaster that Ava’s Don’t Click Play tour has been canceled just two weeks after she first announced it.

The fanbase’s rage only grew when they were alerted about the disappointing move via email from the ticket provider before Ava, 31, made any kind of announcement herself.
Although Ava eventually confirmed the news, she failed to give any kind of reason as to why the tour was shut down just days after she announced it was happening.
However, a music insider has exclusively told The U.S. Sun that a big reason for the tour coming to a screeching halt is her single, Lovin Myself, which has “bombed both critically and commercially.”
“Atlantic [her record label] is rumored to be dropping her so they most likely pulled the plug because it wasn’t profitable.
“The label feels this rollout has been a disaster. Fans agree,” the source claimed.
Indeed, fans are furious about the move, with thousands expressing their rage to Ava directly after years of supporting her career.
“Ava I’ve been with you from the beginning but what are you doing!!!! This is going to kill your career, please don’t do this,” an upset fan begged.
“Sorry Ava, but you lost me definitively, it’s official, I’m tired of supporting an artist with whom we have to doubt everything all the time.
“In the space of 2 years, we had singles moved, canceled, an album too, now a tour, I’m very disappointed, bye,” an X user wrote.
“Ava how could you do this to us?!?! We have tried and tried to get you charting but we are DONE supporting you after this move,” another went off.
While one more is blaming Ava’s team over the singer herself: “Who is managing @AvaMax ‘s career?
“Because they are sabotaging this girl hardcore. How do you fumble such a huge debut single and album?”
“How do you manage to fumble a 2nd album with quality pop? And don’t get me started on this ‘roll out’ for her 3rd album. Ava, FIRE EVERYONE,” the fan pleaded.
‘WORTH THE WAIT’?
On Thursday, Ava shocked the music world when she announced her American arena tour for her upcoming album, Don’t Click Play, had been shut down just two weeks after she made the announcement.
“Pushing back my tour is the most difficult decision I’ve had to make, but when I perform for you, it has to be of a standard that I’m happy with, and it’s just not there yet.
“Being on stage is my favorite thing in the world. In order to put on a show that you all deserve, I need more time. I promise you all it will be worth the wait.
“I love you all and can’t wait to see you. SOON, I PROMISE,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

MAXED OUT?
Ava first signed to Atlantic Records in 2016 after her song, Anyone but You, gained international attention online.
However, it was the massive hit she released in 2018, Sweet but Psycho, that catapulted her career.
Ava’s latest album, Don’t Click Play, will be released on August 22 but it’s unclear what the singer’s rollout plan is now that her tour has been shuttered.
Lovin’ Myself, the second single from the album, failed to chart in the US and found little success in other countries.
Despite the recent career hiccup, the show must go on and Ava is expected to perform tonight for the Macy’s 4th of July special on NBC.
