A MOM on TikTok has gone viral for her patriotic and refreshing drink that is red, white, and blue.
You can whip up the beverage quickly with just two ingredients, and it’s perfect for Fourth of July parties.
The viral drink is a fun and festive way to celebrate Independence Day and stay hydrated during the long holiday weekend.
Anastasiia Plaksii (@ana..motherhood), a mom and popular content creator, concocted the colorful red, white and blue drink using just Gatorade and Sprite.
Her TikTok video from earlier this week sharing the recipe has gone viral, raking in 3.9 million views and counting.
The mom began by pouring red Fruit Punch Gatorade into half of an ice cube tray and filling the other half with the Cool Blue flavor.
Plaksii then poured a 28-fluid ounce bottle of white Lightening Blast Gatorade into a Ziploc bag and sealed it closed, proceeding to carefully lay it flat in the freezer alongside the ice cube tray.
Once frozen, the content creator took the Gatorade-filled Ziploc bag and placed it between a folded towel, using a meat tenderizer to crush up the frozen drink into a slushy-like consistency.
The mom then placed a few spoonfuls of the frozen white Gatorade into two wine glasses, as well as three blue ice cubes and three red ice cubes.
The patriotic drink is topped off with some Sprite, and Plaksii finished off the video by giving the beverages a quick stir with glass straws.
Those hoping for a bit of a stronger drink could add vodka or sparkling wine to the colorful beverage.
Several TikTokers in the comments section were excited to try out the festive drink, with one writing, “That is so smart!” and another praising, “Great summer idea!”
