HODA Kotb has given her verdict on who should take her place on the Today Show with her ex co-host, Jenna Bush Hager.
The beloved daytime TV personality said goodbye to the Today Show in January after seven years in January.

Since then, Jenna Bush Hager has been joined by a rotation of guest hosts who appear for a number of episodes before being changed.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen grilled Hoda on what she’s seen of her replacements, and asked who she thinks should take over.
Thinking about her answer, Hoda said: “I mean, anybody would be so lucky. But to me, the contenders are Savannah [Guthrie]; I think she would be great; I think Justin Sylvester is amazing.”
“Scarlett Johansson crushed it,” she added, echoing hundreds of fans who praised the Avengers star’s stint.
When Andy noted that the Oscar-nominated actress “wasn’t going to do it every day”, Hoda seemed hopeful regardless.
“I know, but wouldn’t it be…. she said it was her favorite job!”
Hoda went on to add: “Matt Rogers is great, and also our dear friend Chanel Jones.
“I feel like it’s whoever clicks great with Jenna. I think that’s the one.”
Since Hoda’s exit, the show has been renamed to ‘Today with Jenna & Friends‘.
On top of the previously mentioned names, Jenna has been joined by SNL star Ego Nwodim – who prompted an emotional moment when she was surprised by her mom – as well as Taraji P Henson, Keke Palmer and Eva Longoria.
Olivia Munn also proved to be a favorite among viewers, who urged Today to ‘just hire her already’.
But it seems the decision has already been made, with The U.S. Sun exclusively revealing Sheinelle Jones as the official replacement.
According to a source, Sheinelle, 46, “has the job” but added how there will not be an announcement until after her leave of absence has ended.
She has been away from Today since December, and has been silent on social media as well.
Sheinelle only returned to Instagram briefly on January 15 to issue a statement about her coping with a “family health matter.”
