A HIGH school coach and his wife have been killed in the devastating Texas floods.
And the couple’s two children are also still missing after the tragedy.

Reece Zunker coached soccer at Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas.
His wife Paula was formerly a teacher at the same school.
Both of them have died, the school announced in a statement.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our beloved teachers, Reece Zunker, and his wife, Paula, who tragically lost their lives in the flash flood on July 4th,” Kerrville Independent School District said.
“Reece was a passionate educator and a beloved soccer coach.
“His unwavering dedication to our students, athletes, and the Tivy community touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.
“Paula, a former Tivy teacher, also left a lasting mark on our community.
“The care and impact she shared with her students continue to be felt, even years later.
“At this time, Reece and Paula’s children, Lyle and Holland, are still missing.
“Please continue to keep the Zunker family and all those in our community affected by this unimaginable tragedy in your prayers.”
The school’s boys soccer team also paid tribute to the coach.
“Coach Reece Zunker was not just a soccer coach he was a mentor, teacher and a role model for our Kerrville kids,” they said.
“He rebuilt the soccer program and left a legacy.
“His passion for his players, students, co-workers, community and his family will never be forgotten.”
The floods in Texas have left at least 82 people dead.
Another 41 people were missing as a result of the natural disaster.
Summer camp for girls Camp Mystic saw at least 27 deaths while 11 more are still missing.
More storms are predicted to hit Texas in the coming days.
Authorities say the death toll is likely to rise.
“This tragedy has devastated us and our entire community,” Camp Mystic said in a statement.
“Our hearts are broken alongside the families that are enduring this tragedy, and we share their hope and prayers.”
